Yoga Retreat in Nashik, India

Each day we will practice Yogic Kriyas, Pranayama, Asanas – Yin and Yang, Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Mindfulness, Self-Enquiry and Yoga Philosophy.
This retreat is for those who are keen to deepen their knowledge and practice of Yoga & Meditation in a conducive setting. Students of all levels, from beginner to advanced may attend.
Registered teachers may credit 35 hours of the immersion to Yoga Alliance. There will be a structured schedule where 4 of the practice hours are workshop style and 1 hour of philosophy lecture and self-enquiry in the evening.

Single occupancy rooms are very limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis. If demand is there and capacity allows, we will release more rooms for single occupancy after 31st of January. Allocation will be made against an upgrade from a (first come first served) wait-list.
Fees include transportation to/ from Nashik on 16th March and 23rd March, participation in the daily schedule, room, all meals and board from 16-23 March. The price does not cover airfares, travel insurance or visa arrangements, which are arranged and covered by the Participant.
Early Bird fees are available with payment of the full amount before 15th November 2017. To confirm your booking, complete and submit the registration form and pay either the Early Bird fee or a non-refundable deposit of RM 725 to secure your place.
Any outstanding balance is due by 31st of December 2017.
Participants are requested to make flight reservations as soon as their registration is confirmed. We request you arrive into Mumbai at least 1 day prior to the 16th March so we are able to depart for Nashik in the morning.

Self enquiry, philosophy
1. Pandavleni Caves: Panda Lenu are a group of 24 caves carved between the 3rd century BC and the 2nd century AD, representing the Hinayana Buddhist caves are located high in the mountains of Trirashmi.
2. Winery Visit : Nashik is also known as the ‘wine capital’ of India. There are seven wineries to visit in the Nashik area:

• Grover Zampa
3. Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple: An ancient Hindu temple in Trimbak, the Shiva Temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva. It’s a short drive from Nasik.
4. Ramkund: This is where Lord Rama and Sita used to bathe. The waters here are said to provide moksha (freedom).
6. Kala Rama Temple: The Kalaram Temple is an old Hindu shrine dedicated to Rama in the Panchavati area of Nashik city in Maharashtra, India. It is probably the most important Hindu shrine in the city.
7. Dudhsagar Falls: Dudhsagar Falls is a four-tiered waterfall (10 metres) located in Someshwar, named after milk for it’s creamy white colour.
8. Shirdi: Around 100 kilometres from Nasik, Shirdi is one of the most popular temples in India. Pay a visit to the famed Sai Baba Temple!

The closest airport to Nashik is Mumbai International Airport. We request you arrive at least 1 day prior as we will be departing as a group at 7:00am on 16th March from an allocated hotel close to Mumbai airport to Grape County via a luxury bus which will take approximately 3 hours.
Participants make their own travel arrangements to and from Mumbai. Participants are strongly encouraged to make flight reservations as soon as their registration is confirmed as there are limited daily flights to Mumbai from Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia Airlines, Air India and Malindo Air have direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Mumbai. Please note: Air Asia does not fly directly to Mumbai. If you are planning to combine your trip to India with sightseeing and shopping, we recommend you stop over in Delhi for a few days before or after the retreat. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you require any further information or assistance in order to conclude your travel arrangements.
