Restful Sleep

Restful sleep is vital for our wellbeing and positively affects work performance and personal relationships.

However, many of us suffer from insomnia, disrupted sleep and sleep apnoea and experience symptoms like a busy, racing mind, nightmares, sweating, the need to go the bathroom during the night, dry mouth, brain fog or fatigue upon waking, fatigue during the day, poor concentration and upper and lower respiratory complaints.

Do you suffer from any of the above complaints and would like to understand how you can establish more favourable conditions for restful sleep?

The workshop is held over 2 three-hour sessions and is a combination of presentation and guided practices, with some time for questions and answers.

It will cover the following 4 components with an aim to equip you with practical knowledge and protocols that you can integrate into your daily routine to improve your sleep.

1)    Yoga postures for restful sleep
2)    Breathing techniques for restful sleep
3)    Dietary and lifestyle considerations for restful sleep
4)    Meditation and Yoga Nidra, the art of conscious rest

This course runs in 4 one and a half hour sessions.
Time: Mondays at 7pm to 8:30 pm
