Hatha Vinyasa Yoga involves a series of asanas synchronised with the breath. Emphasis is on the breath and the transition from one asana to another. Moving in a slow and steady manner with breath awareness can help deepen whole body mindfulness and, over time, prepare the student for more subtle breath and mind practices like pranayama and meditation.
