After taking many workshops such as Buteyko, Body Cleansing, Meditation and several 21day courses, she took Yogshakti’s Integrative Teacher Training Course and completed her Yoga Alliance RYT200 in 2015 and RYT500 certification in 2018 with Shilpa and Paddy Mcgrath.

Asako discovered that yoga is not just about taking care of the body but it is useful in bringing about awareness off the mat in everyday life. Being introduced to the philosophy of Advaita by Ragi Kadirgamar was a real eye opener for her. In classes, she works on the energy body in order for the Chi to flow unobstructed throughout the body.

Asako teaches at Yogshakti, HotYo and Under The Light yoga studio. She also offers private classes, yoga for Scoliosis classes, meditation and Yoga Nidra Sessions. She is also Gendai Reiki Master.

Integrative Yoga is a ‘philosophy in form’. It attempts to harmonise the body, mind, breath and emotion through the integration of various ideologies and practices, and one of them being the Taoism and Qi Gong. Kym is herself since 2013 a Tai Chi practitioner and 2017 a Shaolin Qi Gong practitioner. The integration of Taoism teachings and Qi Gong into her yoga practice has enabled it to become a holistic system for the mind, body and spirit.

Dian Le

Dian’s life changing journey in holistic health and wellness began five years ago with yoga and meditation when she left a 15-year-long corporate career. Through a series of cathartic moments, she realised that yoga is a powerful tool to help her release the accumulated stress that her body had absorbed throughout adulthood.

She then discovered Yogshakti’s Integrative Yoga, and experienced herself the beauty of both feeling light in the body, and having stillness in the mind. In her self-healing journey, she explored various holistic modalities such as Clinical Hypnosis and Integrative Nutrition to fully return her body and mind to the state of homeostasis – the state of balance. Dian now makes it her life purpose to support people’s healing journey. Her classes is a combination of energising movements and deeply relaxing rest that is accesible to everyone.

Dian is a certified 200Hr Integrative Yoga Teacher from Yogshakti Malaysia. She is also a certified Integrative Health and Nutrition Coach from Insititute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) USA, and is an affiliate member of British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH). She combines these modalities to help people relearn how to relax, manage stress, regain confidence, and to break free from unhelpful thought patterns and habits.

From 2006 to 2010, Dian was a health and parenting editor, where she wrote in-depth features based on medical journals and interviews with health and psychology experts. She attributes her profound interest in health and wellness to have stemmed from that time in her life.

Siew Yin Yoon

Siew Yin has a finance background with which she had pursued a corporate career for 18 years. That desk job wreaked havoc on her body – sore wrists, stiff neck and other office-related aches. In order to treat these issues and to improve her strength and flexibility, she began taking yoga classes once or twice a week and self-practised on other days. She was determined to be kinder to her body and to maintain a healthier lifestyle – in that process she realized that yoga has become one of the most important things in her life.

In 2019, she started training with Shilpa Ghatalia at Yogshakti. Siew Yin was captivated by the holistic approach of Yogshakti Yoga and enrolled in a 200-hour Teacher Training course with Shilpa with the intention to deepen her personal practice. She has also trained with Diane Long, a long-time student of Vanda Scaravelli, on the methods of Scaravelli-inspired yoga.

Siew Yin has been intrigued by the mind-body connection through her yoga practice. Seeing how yoga transformed her on and off the mat, she became inspired to share her experience with others. On the mat, she enjoys arm balances and inversions which she would sometimes integrate them into her meditative flows. She believes that yoga is accessible to everyone and is committed to presenting her classes according to the ability of each student. Her hope is that students step off the mat feeling energized, refreshed and nourished in both body and mind.

Loïc Martineau

After 20 years in the pharma Industry, I realized that neither my career nor my business was really answering my personal and health needs. It took me some time to shift my mind and really get into well-being and self-realization. Yoga practice has been the tipping point and the anchor of an interesting journey exploring the many dimensions of life. Yoga more than anything else has given me the strength, the clarity, the guidance I needed to feel and enjoy life.

Having Completed the RYS alliance 200h teacher training in 2018 and rather numerous courses of integrative Yoga since 2014, I understood It is time for me to share and to help others find their own balance.

I am very pleased to bring my practical experience combined to the integrative yoga techniques to anyone looking for something more in life.

Beatrice Ankel

For Beatrice, yoga has been a consistent source of optimism, strength and stability. When she initially started her yoga practice, Beatrice was suffering from a shoulder injury and chronic back pain that held her back from living an active and pain free lifestyle. But through her continuous yoga practice, she was not only able to overcome these physical limitations, but also became more conscious of herself and her surroundings and started to understand and accept herself on a much deeper level.

Now, she aspires to not only share the practice of yoga, but also her passion for it with her students to encourage them to explore and embrace their own conscious relationship with it. Beatrice has a professional background as a surgical nurse, has studied acupuncture and became a certified Reiki second-level practitioner in 2004. She leverages this know-how and background to better understand and connect the practice of yoga to the human anatomy, physiology, and the body’s capability to heal.

Beatrice studied with Shilpa Ghatalia at Yogshakti and recently became a certified Yoga Alliance RYT 500-Hour yoga teacher. Alongside this, Beatrice also completed Yin Yoga training with Sebastian & Murielle Purcelle and attended a workshop by Diane Long on the methods of Scaravelli-inspired yoga. Beatrice believes that the practice of yoga is a lifelong process that teaches you to become a better person, to live life more consciously, and to help you accept yourself for who you are.
