Nurturing Vitality Through Ayurveda
What is Ayurveda?
Known as a sister- science of Yoga, Ayurveda is a 5000 year old science of earth-based healing that has its origins in South Asia. This wide system of holistic health-care emphasizes a continued exploration of balance in the body, mind, and spirit. This is maintained through an ever-changing awareness of internal and external environments. Seasonal and whole-foods diet, exercise, and ideal daily and seasonal routines are encouraged. This “wisdom of life” imparts a system of guidelines to continually remind us that health is the dynamic dance between our spirit, body, mind and environment.
